The Interval Benchmarks are unpacked at each grade level so teachers know what knowledge is needed to attain the interval benchmarks. No Child Left Behind legislation refers to the Grade Level Benchmarks as grade level expectations. The Grade Level Benchmarks are indicators of what students should know and be able to do at each grade. Each grade level has an Instructional Resources section that includes supporting knowledge and instructional strategies. Teachers can use the information for curriculum development, instruction and assessment.

Choose a grade level on the right to:
  • Prepare students for attainment of interval benchmarks
  • Examine supporting knowledge: vocabulary, information and skills
  • Explore best practices instructional strategies
  • Identify levels of student performances
Interval benchmarks assessed on current standardized tests are indicated.

Listed here are all Interval Benchmarks for the Math Standards grouped by Grade Interval 9-12.
